Don't have a damn clue lol, but ya'll been at the top of my sites since I found Nappyafro and the forums made it even better. You guys and everybody who's a regular on the site seem to be genuine down to earth people who love hip-hop and u deserve all the success you've received. I've said it before, and i'm almost gettin into dick ridin' territory at this point haha, but I love the site keep doin ya'lls thing!

It was the time around Sheek Louch's album, Silverback Gorilla, was out. I had never heard a Sheek Louch album before so I was just curious to check out his latest release. I searched it up on wikipedia, then I scrolled down the page, and saw all the review sites they had in the information box. I just randomly clicked on one of the sites from the boxes without thinking, and that site was nappyafro.com. I read the review for the album and liked how they reviewed it. Then I went on to exploring more reviews and I really liked the work they put in. For a while, I had stopped visiting the site, but then after a couple of weeks later I just decided to check it out again due to boredom. I went on the site, and they had closed it down because they released the new nappyafro.com; I quickly peeped the new website and loved it! The site was pretty new at that time, so it was pretty quiet around these parts, lol. But ever since then, I've been here and I'm also well known on this site as well!

Searching google for album reviews, I don't remember what album it was but I remember the track by track review that made it so simple to get a understanding of the album instead of other sites that talk more about that the artist has done instead of his music. Y'all still have the best album review format to me, even when I already listened to a CD, still look to get the sites opinion on it.

even tho I didnt start to get involved until recently, I've been an avid reader for a minute now. I forget the exact album I was looking for a review of (probably somthin' Southern) but honestly what first grabbed me was the name of the site.

I mean yall couldve named it anything. "Tight Jeans and Neon" or "hip-hop hugs!"
but yall kept it 100 and just called yallselves the fuckin' Nappy Afro, and I thought that was slick as hell and I said "these cats must really be about it" started reading the reviews on the regular, jumped into the forums recently...and here I am

I was searching for new/deeper music to get away from this radio bullshit. I ended up finding 2dopeboyz but I needed a site for recent albums..thus I found nappyafro. It was #1 on the google list so I figured it was legit. Sure enough it was. Next thing you know the site changes and I'm a regular. Now I'm a regular trying to get work in.

Uhm i can't be completely sure, but i think i was lookin up the 50 and Kanye albums to see which one i would buy. I saw the reviews, looked at some others, and have been following this site ever since

think there was a link on wikipedia a long, long time ago (early 2008 maybe?) lol n then i got hooked. i have a very vague memory, i loved the site straight away though

I think I found the site the same way Infamous F did. I remeber it was off wikipedia off a album for reviews but I dont remeber what album it was. It could have been that Sheek Louch album. I had a short period where I was heavy on D-Block

well Im into SUiciDE girls and I had done a search for Faithful suicDE, and THe fro came up (with the whole spread too.) So i checked the Faithful spread/pics and I like it, obviously. I started searching around and checking what otha Kinda shi!t ya'll had.

THe rest is history REally. I saw ya'll had thE downloads section which Was a HUge plus on top of the other Sh!t ya'll nikkas haVE.

I think someone put a nappyafro review as one of the wikipedia reviews for an album, i think it was Chamillionaire cause i was shocked by the 1.5 of 5 rating.
